Susan Boyle Hospitalized

Tuesday, June 2, 2009

Appearantly the rotund singer was hospitalized due to stress, but others have a different theory.

What is to become of her singing future? I personally think this is all part of the Susan Boyle Publicity Circus.

Welcome to the show!

Susan Boyle got beat out by Dance Group

Monday, June 1, 2009

Heavily favored singing sensation Susan Boyle didn't get to live the dream she dreamed in the final.

Boyle, 48, lost Britain's Got Talent to a wild and crazy dance group called Diversity.

For the finals she stayed true to the tune that made her a world wide Internet phenom and sang song that made her a YouTube sensation, "I Dreamed a Dream" from the musical Les Miserables.

Millions voted by telephone after Saturday’s live telecast which Boyle had long been expected to win.

But like so many elections many didn’t vote because they thought Boyle winning would be failed accomplishment.

Last week Boyle began to crack under the pressure, lashing out at fans and critics alike with a sharp Scottish tongue laced with expletives.

"You had the guts to come back here and face your critics, and you beat them," judge Simon Cowell told Boyle after the finale.

Boyle may have lost the competition but she won the hearts of the world and is expected to launch a recording career

"I hope to get an album out, who knows? I'll just play it by ear. My journey has been unbelievable, very humbling," Boyle said after wishing winning lads Diversity “luck”.

Just like American Idol this year the people you think should win or are going to win have been all beating out by the underdog.

Suan Boyle Scandal!

Monday, April 27, 2009

The 47-year-old spinster told viewers of the U.K. TV talent show that she lived alone, had a cat called Pebbles, and had "never been kissed." But it wasn't true.

Boyle, who has competed in countless talent shows, used the line to curry favor with the audience. She told a TV interviewer from U.K. breakfast show GMTV, "That was made as a joke! Never been kissed? I've never stopped."

This has outraged a lot of viewers and fans, for them this was one of the reason why they were so in to her "Ugly Duckling " story.

"Is she a genius for coming up with this? now looking back this looks like a great marketing career"- one view says

While another follower quotes" What I think she meant to say is she has never been kissed, because it's been so long since she has been kissed it feels like forever"

Popwrap.com branded her a "one-trick pony," while NowPublic.com was more understanding: "Do you think a"Now that Susan Boyle has been acknowledged as a singing sensation for her beautiful voice, I think it would be a good idea to declare her the winner of Britain's Got Talent," wrote C.J. Crane from Mallorca in Spain.

Now now, not so fast my above friend. I do recall even Simon Cowell saying that she is NOT a shoe in for the win in this years talent event. Have we also forgot about the 12 yr old kid who sparked charm into the audiences hearts?

"I am glad Simon Cowell looks like he's going to give her a recording contract," said Raymond Rees from Wales.

British fan D.E. Atkins wrote: "The makeover squad should leave Susan Boyle alone. It is her singing and simplicity that people love. Once they start trying to change Susan's image they will spoil her."

But is it too late? Is overnight stardom already threatening to change Susan Boyle? I believe so. On one interview she was joking around so much she kissed her mail man and said. "See, I have been kissed"

Now with her new look and her Burberry outfits the one loves ugly duck has grown in to the swan many people wanted to see., but is this enough? will this be the end of her career or now will more controversy hit?

Since her first audition, the local council has built a fence around her home to discourage autograph-hunters. Boyle has also hired a hunky live-in bodyguard, been seen sporting an expensive leather jacket, and has agreed to go on a date with one of the judges.

All I can say is what's next? a fake tan?

Susan Boyle the 47yr Old Virgin who sings.

Thursday, April 16, 2009

When 47-year-old small town spinster Susan Boyle stepped on to the stage of Britain's Got Talent and announced she was unemployed, had never been married and "never been kissed, actually," few in the audience would have wondered why. With unkempt hair and Leonid Breshnev eyebrows, and mention of her ten-year-old cat "Pebbles," the Blackburn, Scotland lass resembled basically every other reality TV talent show timewaster who talks big and delivers nothing but personal humiliation on a national stage.
But then Susan Boyle opened her mouth and sang I Dreamed a Dream from Les Miserables, and her world changed forever.

The audience rose within seconds to applaud her incredible voice as the celebrity judges sat open-mouthed, and remained standing to the end, delivering a standing ovation that had even the most hardened reality TV snob tearing up.
Journalist and TV host Piers Morgan said, "Without a doubt that was the biggest surprise I have had in three years on the show. When you stood there with that cheeky grin and said, 'I wanna be like Elaine Paige', everyone was laughing at you. No one is laughing now. That was stunning, an incredible performance. Amazing. I'm reeling from shock."

Actress Amanda Holden followed, "I am so thrilled because I know that everybody was against you. I honestly think that we were all being very cynical and I think that's the biggest wake up call ever. And I just want to say that it was a complete privilege listening to that."
Even American Idol cynic Simon Cowell couldn't help but get on the Susan Boyle bandwagon, laughingly saying, "From the moment you walked on the stage, I knew..."
The internet duly exploded with Susan Boyle-mania, with her YouTube video bringing 5.6 million viewings in just three days. Her performance has been seen on CNN and been plastered on newspaper pages from Australia to New York.

Increased demand from music downloaders has sent the original cast recording of the song she performed up the iTunes singles chart, and to top it all off, Boyle has said she has already had a meeting with Sony BMG with a view to releasing an album. "I can't say much about it. It's early days and I'm taking baby steps."

All of this fuss must be difficult to comprehend for the youngest of nine children who had given up a potential singing career to look after her sick mother, but it's just beginning. Boyle will be back for the second round of the series, which she's currently rated at odds of 5/2 of winning by UK bookmakers.

My take on this, her odds to get laid just went up to 1000/1
