Joel McHale stars in new NBC show "Community"

Joel McHale is hilarious on a weekly basis. Now it looks like he’s going to be bringing his comedic skills to NBC’s new comedy pilot titled "Community", which Anthony and Joe Russo are set to direct.

"Community" is described as Stripes in a community college. It centers on Jeff (Who is played by Joel McHale), a lawyer who has to go back to college when he finds out his degree is deemed invalid. McHale’s done some guest starring roles in other shows but this will be his first time carrying a show.didn’t say.

So what does this mean for us Soup fans? Well we have no idea if he will be leaving the show or not. After watching last week's episode of "Web Soup" it looks like they might already have someone lined up to take his spot.I suppose we’ll have to wait and see if the show gets picked up first, but with other big names like Chevy Chase hitting up the show. I don't see why it wouldn't get picked up? I for one am a big fan of his and I love The Soup and his live shows.
