Flo-Rider gives out his cell number? Not very original bro.

In an attempt to reach his fan base on a more intimate level, the Floridian rapper has made his personal cell phone number public.


"If they can go out and buy my albums, I can at least make the sacrifice to holler at the few people who call," he says. "A lot of times I'm busy so they'll get my voice mail. And if I can speak to them and I have time, I always text back. Because I think that's very important."


To prove that he wasn’t lying he went on CNN and brought his iPhone out. The phone was on overdrive, constantly lighting up and vibrating with an influx of texts and calls.

He answered the phone to one of the calls and said the below.

"Yo this is your boy Flo Rida," he said to one caller. "What's your name? What's good?"
But it was too much for the person on the other end -- he or she hung up before uttering a response.


"Most of them hang up," says Flo Rida (real name Tramar Dillard). "They don't think it's really me."


So how many calls and texts does a top-selling, in-demand rap star actually respond to? "About 30 percent," he says.


So I took it to the test and called the number myself. It went straight to his voicemail and said the below.


“The voice male belonging to (someone laughs a deep shrugged gangster laugh and then says) is full”


So is this really him? Does anyone even have the right number? I have a number, but I don’t know if it’s the “real” one. If it is, I believe this is just another gimmick to get his audience some hype.


Either way this Flo-Rider is definitely NOT original. If you recall, my boy Mr. MIKE JONES! WHO? MIKE JONES! WHO?

That’s right, my boy mike Jones when he was first starting out he gave his cell number out as well. I called him and yes he did pick up. Same as Flo-Rider says, I didn’t say much because I honestly didn’t know it was him. but he still picked up and said.

“yo, dis is Mike, what’s up!”

American Idol Season 8 SUCKS BIG TIME DICK!!

That's right!, The top 8 actually sang on tonight's American Idol (April 8, 09) After all my bitching and complaining about how they have been lip syncing there "group performances" if that's what you want to call them.

On tonight's episode they actually sang live, and oh man did it SUCK!!!! SUCKED BIG HAIRY BALLS!

They were all over the place, Adam the princess kept wanting to bring his high pitch voice up but was trying hard to retain himself. The chick with the Red hair and her man voice was definitely noticeable through out the performance while the others were all blah and very off beat.

All in all it was a very weak performance and a really crappy way of opening the show. All I can say is at least they weren't lip syncing, but seriously. OH BOY DID IT SUCK!

Now lets talk about FLO-RIDER's performance. Well lets just say the shitty opening made him look like her could actually sing (Which we all know with out his voice synthesiser it is impossible) but ya, lets just leave tonight's episode at that.
